Workspace

A workspace holds your team, your billing, your pool of prompts and credits, and your brands. Core and Plus call it a workspace. Agencies, and accounts an agency manages, see the same thing called an organization. The API keys page and the assistant sign-in screen say organization on every plan. You can belong to more than one workspace. The row at the top of the rail names the brand you are on and opens one menu with the workspace’s brands, your other workspaces and, for agencies, the accounts you manage. The same menu holds Brand settings and your usage meters. Your account avatar sits beside it and opens your account menu.

Brand

A brand is one website, with its own prompts, reports, competitors, connections and members. How many brands a workspace holds depends on the plan; see Plans, trials and limits.

Settings

Settings has three scopes, picked at the top of its menu. Your brand shows as its domain, your workspace by its name, and your own account as You.
  • The brand scope has the Brand, Members, Segments, Connections and Autonomy pages. The Brand page holds:
    • Site, the domains whose pages count as yours;
    • Identity, your category, buyer, offer and what sets you apart, used from the next update for how AI describes you. Each row shows how many AI engines agree. See what AI says opens a representative quote and the engine results;
    • Facts, the statements you add, edit and remove, checked from the next update on. See Brand facts;
    • Names that count as you, the other spellings and product names an answer might use for your brand. Answers using other names do not count as you;
    • Schedule, when the daily update and weekly report run, the Next update, and the control to pause them;
    • Export, and for owners, deleting the brand.
  • The workspace scope has Workspace, or Organization where the app uses that word, then Members, Brands, Billing, Usage and Connections. Agency managers see Managed accounts in place of Brands.
  • You has Account, Authentication, API keys and Notifications.

Delete a brand

Only the workspace Owner can delete a brand. Open Settings, choose the brand scope, and select Delete brand. Type the domain in the confirmation dialog. Updates and automation stop immediately. You return to the brand’s home page, where a notice shows its deletion date and time. Select Undo within 24 hours to keep the brand with its schedule, prompts, credits and connections intact. A brand you had already paused stays paused after you undo. You can still undo after canceling a subscription. Updates still need an active plan. After 24 hours, the brand’s history is archived and its prompts free up. Its content credit allocation returns to the workspace. You cannot undo after the window closes. You cannot delete the workspace’s last live brand unless the workspace itself is scheduled for deletion. If you undo the workspace’s deletion while every live brand is scheduled for deletion, the last brand you scheduled is kept, even after its 24-hour window has closed.

Members and roles

A workspace member holds one role, and it applies to every brand in the workspace: Ownership moves only through Transfer ownership. Invite people from the workspace’s Members page. If your workspace has no plan, Members links to Billing and disables new invites. An invite expires after 14 days. Resend invite emails it again and restarts the 14 days, once 10 minutes have passed since its last email. A workspace can send 50 invite emails per UTC day, resends included, across workspace and brand invites. If an invite’s email can’t be sent, the invite is still saved, and Members asks you to resend it.

Brand access

To give someone one brand and nothing else, send them a brand invite. Invite from the brand’s Members page, or from the workspace’s Members page under Specific brands. The invite carries one of three roles: The invite takes effect when the person signs in with the invited address. Brand access takes no seat and shows nothing of the rest of the workspace. Only an Owner or Admin can send one.

Managed accounts

On agency plans, an agency can manage a client’s account through a management link. The agency sees it under Managed accounts. A link carries at most Admin rights, never Owner or Billing. The client either pays for itself or draws on the agency’s pool. An account has one manager at a time, and either side can end the link. Inside a managed account, the left rail says who manages it under the brand. An agency member also gets Back to Managed accounts there, or the back arrow in the header on a phone.
